Pam was the only child to the late Louis and Mildred (Marthers) Vladik of Middletown. She attended local schools and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1961. She won the heart of James "Rab" Zawisa, and they married in 1962. They had over 57 wonderful years together until Rab's death in 2019.
