With the beautiful scenery on the trails of Hocking Hills, the warmth of the Logan community makes it a great place to visit before or after a hike, and to experience some family fun or a little shopping for unique items.

Old Man’s Cave

Old Man’s Cave is one of the 7 major hiking trail parks in Hocking Hills. The most popular trail at Old Man’s Cave is a one-way trail loop that is approximately 1.5 miles long.

Ash Cave

Ash Cave is located in the southernmost part of Hocking Hills. The path back to the massive horseshoe cave is paved. When walking this path, we have seen wheelchairs and motorized carts navigating the paved path well.Beautiful hemlocks and beech trees surround the area and provide an amazing backdrop.

Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls is a 0.5-mile long hike that is considered moderate and strenuous with steps. It is a one-way trail with a waterfall, unique rock formations, and bridges. It takes about 40 minutes to walk this trail. Leashed pets are welcome, but there is no wading or swimming allowed in the waterfall or creek areas.

Fun fact, the astronomy park was inspired by the vanishing night sky. With light pollution, the night sky was being consumed. But Hocking Hills was one of the few areas where the night sky was still clear and very visible. Nevillebillie Adventure Park

Nevillebillie Adventure Park is a huge recreational facility packed with adventure for the entire family. This adventure park is fun for all ages!

You can findATV rental, 3paintball fields, a huge familyropes course, a 20-footvertigo tunnel, and more. This adventure park has trails onsite (many of them) to drive the ATVs! This is fun for the entire family, work event, or bachelor/bachelorette parties!

(NevilleBillie Adventure Park) This was a great place for some outdoor fun. Just be sure to bring extra clothes; you WILL get muddy, but it’s good for your skin, and it’s a great experience you won’t get anywhere else.

The Hocking Hills Canoe Livery was started in 1996 and is a family-owned and operated business, providing views of this scenic area via kayak, canoe, tube, or raft.

Hocking Hills Adventures was one of the first of its kind to open in 1976. Hocking Hills Adventures has been owned and operated by the same owners for the last 40 years. The Hocking Hills Adventures facility is over 200 acres and is within minutes of the most popular state parks in Ohio.

Hocking Hills Escape Games

The escape room here is booked with 6 people at a time. The Hocking Hills escape room usually takes about an hour, unless you are exceptionally good at it! The game is designed as a challenge therefore, not everybody wins.

Columbus Washboard Co

The Columbus Washboard Co actually started in Grandview, just outside of Columbus.It moved to Logan in 1999. The Columbus Washboard Co is the only washboard manufacturer still operating in the United States. The washboard factory continues to assemble the products by hand with teams of skilled craftsmen.

If you are looking for an educational thing to do in Logan Ohio, you might want to consider a factory tour at the Columbus Washboard Company. You can see the inner workings of an old brick factory with vintage equipment. The factory tours are guided and take about 35 minutes, they are appropriate for adults and children.

Pencil Sharpener Museum

The collection has grown to over 3,400 pencil sharpeners. The collection has gained national recognition and has been featured in magazines and is said to be the largest collection of pencil sharpeners in the United States. So if you love being a part of history, make a stop here to check out this huge collection of pencil sharpeners.

Hocking Historical and Genealogical Society and Museum

The Hocking Historical and Genealogical Society and Museum’s main focus is to collect, preserve, and diffuse information connected with Hocking County. The museum offers some unique items to view such as a railway telegraph, printing presses, an 1899 steam-powered automobile, and more!
